What an Adult Dyslexia Assessment Can Offer

A formal diagnostic assessment can help you:

  • Understand how your mind processes reading, writing, and language
  • Make sense of lifelong challenges that may have been missed or dismissed in childhood
  • Access reasonable adjustments at work under the Equality Act 2010
  • Apply for Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) if you're in higher education
  • Build confidence, self-advocacy skills, and practical coping strategies
  • Identify assistive technology and tools that work for your learning style

Who We Assess

We welcome adults of any age seeking formal diagnostic clarity. Many of our adult patients tell us they've suspected dyslexia for years but never had the opportunity for a proper assessment. Others come to us after their children are diagnosed and they recognise similar patterns in themselves.
